Chairman George Wang stated the move reflects strong confidence in the REIT’s long-term growth and management’s execution. CEO Russell Ng added that the increased stake aligns the sponsor’s interests more closely with unitholders.
For the half-year ended March 31, the REIT’s distribution per unit rose 4.7% YoY to S$0.0493, backed by resilient operational performance.
AIMS APAC REIT holds S$2.1 billion in total assets and has a market capitalisation of approximately S$1.1 billion.
