Phillip SGX APAC Dividend Leaders REIT ETF Announces Dividend Distribution for 2025

Singapore, 27 December 2024: Phillip Capital Management (S) Ltd (PCM), the manager of the Phillip SGX APAC Dividend Leaders REIT ETF, has announced a dividend distribution of US\$0.023 per unit for holders of the exchange-traded fund. The Fund, listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited (SGX-ST), will distribute the dividend in Singapore Dollars (SGD) on 24 January 2025. The exact SGD amount and the exchange rate used to determine this will be disclosed closer to the payment date.

Key Dates for Shareholders

  • Ex-Dividend Date: 9 January 2025
  • Record Date: 10 January 2025
  • Distribution Payment Date: 24 January 2025

Important Considerations for Investors

Shareholders are reminded of several key points that could affect their investment decisions:

  • The dividend amount will be converted to SGD, and the exchange rate used for this conversion will be announced later. Investors should consider potential currency fluctuations that may impact the final payout.
  • PCM has clarified that dividend distributions are not guaranteed and are subject to the Fund’s discretion. Dividends may be drawn from income and/or capital, potentially leading to a decline in the Fund’s net asset value (NAV).
  • The Fund is listed on SGX-ST, but its units may trade at prices above or below NAV. There is also no assurance of liquidity in the trading of these units.

Additionally, investors cannot directly create or redeem units with PCM; this must be done through Participating Dealers (PDs), who may impose their own conditions on such transactions.

Risks and Disclaimers

PCM has highlighted that investments in the REIT ETF are subject to risks, including potential loss of principal. Past performance is not indicative of future results, and there is no guarantee that the Fund’s investment objectives will be achieved. Investors should carefully read the Fund’s Prospectus and Product Highlights Sheet (PHS) and consult a financial adviser if in doubt.
