Nordic Group Clinches S\$22.9 Million in New Contracts Across Multiple Divisions

Nordic Group Limited has announced a significant development, securing approximately S\$22.9 million worth of contracts across its diverse business divisions. The secured contracts span over several sectors including marine, offshore oil and gas, petrochemical, semiconductor, infrastructure, and security industries. This news could potentially influence the company’s market position and share value as it reflects robust business growth and expansion.

Key details of the contracts are as follows:

  • System Integration Division: Secured approximately S\$6.7 million for manufacturing valves and actuators, control and tank gauging systems, and electrical and instrumentation work. These projects include a series of 23 vessels scheduled for delivery from the second half of 2025 to the first quarter of 2026. The electrical and instrumentation work from a new customer is expected to complete by the fourth quarter of 2024.
  • Precision Engineering Division: Secured contracts worth approximately S\$4.0 million for machining services and mechanical assembly, with completion mainly in the fourth quarter of 2024.
  • Scaffolding and Insulation Divisions: Secured approximately S\$0.8 million for scaffolding and insulation work, with contracts primarily for a one-year maintenance duration.
  • Petrochemical & Environmental Engineering Division: Secured approximately S\$2.4 million for the maintenance of plant and equipment at specific environmental infrastructure, spanning three years and concluding in the fourth quarter of 2027.
  • Cleanroom, Air and Water Engineering Solutions Division: Secured approximately S\$7.0 million for ad-hoc, maintenance, and hook-up services, with ad-hoc and hook-up contracts mainly completing by the second quarter of 2025. Maintenance contracts are set for one and two years ending in the fourth quarters of 2025 and 2026, respectively.
  • Structural Engineering and Construction Services Division: Secured ad-hoc projects worth approximately S\$2.0 million for engineering work related to fuel storage systems maintenance and installation, expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2025.

While these contracts highlight Nordic’s continued growth and penetration into various sectors, they are not expected to materially impact the consolidated net tangible assets per share and earnings per share of the company for the current financial year. However, shareholders and potential investors might find the diversification and expansion into new markets noteworthy as it could provide future financial benefits and stability.
